Many football fans were unsure of goalkeeper Ati-Zigi ’s inclusion in the Black Stars World Cup squad given rumours were rife the selector opted for Joseph Luke Wollacott and Richard Ofori.
However since injury ruled out these options, Lawrence Elikem Ati-Zigi was the man coach Otto Addo and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) settled on to guard the Stars’ post.
Although Ghana lost to Portugal’s A Seleção by 2-3, Ati-Zigi offered some good interventions opening a window into the goodies he has to give.
