Coming to national attention via Ivan Quashigah’s ‘YOLO’ series, Danso D. Sakyi alias King George has chalked another success graduating as a Chevening Awards scholar in the UK.
King George graduated from the Business School for Creative Industries at the University for the Creative Arts with a distinction in MA Global Media Management.
The University of Education product indicates on his LinkedIn page that he was awarded a GBP 30000 scholarship package by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office for his “outstanding leadership and influence as an emerging creative entrepreneur and innovator.”

The school offers a distinctive educational experience that gives students the abilities, information, and know-how necessary to excel in the creative industries.
Danso D. Sakyi who is also Head of Media Production at the Pave Network was part of the 2018/2019 Chevening scholarship batch.
The actor sometimes called ‘Chiiief’ appreciated his mother’s keen observation in noticing he “loved to create” and offered the needed guidance and support.
