Gail Mabalane is already earning praise for her role in new Netflix series ‘Unseen’ where as a wife and cleaner, she goes in search of her husband who was released from prison only to go missing, coming up against powerful and violent criminals.
Released on March 29 to Netflix, fans that had a taste have been delighted with the range offered by Mabalane starring as Zenzi Mwala.
In the past Gail Mabalane played roles in shows including The Wild and The Road and Blood & Water.

Unseen, created by Travis Taute and Daryne Joshua is a South African crime series detailing the perils associated with letting people in homes to execute manual labour especially by the wealthy. The pair also worked on the Netflix series Blood & Water (2020).
As it turns out, Unseen draws inspiration from the 2021 Turkish Netflix series Fatma. The six 45-minute episodes have components of crime but also drama, and thriller.
Zenzi struggles to survive when faced with financial problems and actual physical threats. In the end, she’s the cleaning woman who sees everything but goes unseen herself.
